Order Of Volatility

The order of volatility in digital forensics refers to the order in which investigators must collect the digital evidence in a crime scene. As the name implies, this is the order in which the data which is most likely to disappear is prioritised for retrieval first, which is why it is a procedure which must be followed by investigators to avoid losing any data which could be used as evidence in a Court of law.
