 Digital Forensics

I chose Digital Forensics as my project theme as it is my progressing degree and is what I enjoy researching about. Digital Forensics is really interesting to me as it is a field that involves both complex-problem solving as well as utilising a broad knowledge of computing. Digital forensics is divided into various sub-branches such as Operating systems forensics which covers various operating systems ranging from Windows to Linux. Thus, having a wide knowledge of numerous systems and OS is a necessity to survive in this field. 

Moreover, digital forensics investigators face a lot of challenges which I find interesting. This would include the insurance of evidences' integrity and making sure it remains unaltered throughout the collection to analysis processes. 

I am quite familiar with this field and have previously completed numerous online-courses about this such as Operating-systems forensics and the use of forensics tools such as FTK Imager and Autopsy which could perform a ram capture and analyse the content of the memory dump, respectively.
